Candidates aiming to qualify as primary and elementary teachers in KVS, NVS, ERDO, National Army Schools, or CBSE-affiliated institutions must pass the CTET 2024.

CTET Admit Card 2024
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 Notification. The online registration process for CTET 2024, covering both Primary Level (Paper I) and Junior Level (Paper II), was open from September 17, 2024, to October 16, 2024.
Eligible candidates aspiring for teaching roles for classes I to V and VI to VIII must appear for CTET Exam Paper I and Paper II, respectively. To gain entry to the examination center, applicants are required to carry a printed copy of their CTET Admit Card.

CTET Exam Date 2024
The CTET 20th Edition Exam was initially planned for December 1, 2024. However, due to administrative factors, CBSE has rescheduled it to December 14, 2024 (Saturday).
Additionally, the CTET 2024 notification mentions that in cities with a high number of applicants, the exam may be extended to December 15, 2024 (Sunday), providing additional flexibility across 136 cities.

The CTET Exam format features Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. Importantly, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The exam is divided into two sections: Paper I, intended for teaching positions in classes I to V, and Paper II for those applying to teach classes VI to VIII.
Each paper allows candidates a total time of 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

- A new page titled “Download Admit Card” will open.
